Short Hair Don’t Care

Hello beautiful people! HAPPY HOLIDAYS…HAPPY KWANZAA!

I know I’ve been away and haven’t posted anything for a while. I had to take a break for minute to focus on some other things in my life that required more attention. BUT I am back nevertheless!

Real quick, I just want to give an update on what’s going on with my hair. 🙂 It’s growing like CRAZY! And why I’m acting brand new as if I don’t know what to do with it, I don’t know. It’s at that awkward TWA (teenie weenie afro) length, where it’s not short and cute but it’s not a medium length either. *shrugs* I haven’t cut/or trimmed it, so it has different lengths throughout and it is looking kinda crazy, sort of. It just started to get enough length to create some flat twists and I am happy happy happy! FINALLY I can do something different with this hair of mine. Lord knows I’m getting bored as hell right now… :-/

Flat twits I did a few days ago

                                        Curls, curls, curls!

Stretching it out to see length.

(Why I decided to post these pics without make-up? I don’t know LOL)
Products used in my hair in the above pics are Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner and Eco Styler Gel (for the flat twists to hold).
I’ve just been wearing wash-n-go style (w/Cantu Shea Butter Leave in Conditioner). I like wearing a knit beret, scarf or head wrap too because of the cold weather and I like variety. Like I said, the wash-n-go TWA is boring me to tears lol.
So that’s pretty much it as far as my hair goes. I HOPE to get some Senegalese twits in a couple of months. I really want to do some protective styles this go ’round to allow for faster growth, and less manipulation on my part. In the meantime, I’ll just explore and play with my hair until I discover some other cute styles…if I’m not too lazy. =)
Peace & Love,
