Brief Update: My Life

Hey lovelies….

I admit. I have been neglecting my blog. My new job (more on that later) and all that comes with it, has knocked me off my blogging game. Had to take a minute to adjust to what’s been going on in my life. I been trying not to allow life’s hurdles and bumps un-inspire me and I think that’s what’s been happening. I must, I will DO BETTER. 🙂

So here’s the scoop:

My mom has moved in with me. All I got to say is I’m dealing with it. Some days are good and some days……..ehh…….not so good. With prayer and a whole lot of faith, I know things will be fine. I love my mom, but with all she has going on, (without going into detail) it’s a lot to deal with. In the meantime, I stay spiritually connected to the Source and keep the joy in my heart, despite what’s going on around me.

I am a ‘working girl’ again! YES…I have rejoined the rat race (bleh). I’m an Office Assistant at (another) proprietary school. It’s okay for now….but I’m more than sure this is just a stepping stone. Although I am thankful to have employment, I still have the entrepreneurial itch. Working for somebody else’s company for the rest of my life is not my ultimate goal. My time will come…I have ideas and  grand aspirations. So the pursuit continues!

Latest Obsessions:
Nail polish and cute puppies.

I think I’ve been bitten by the dog bug because now, I want a small dog. I think I’m just wanting something to play with lol. Maybe a phase I’m going through or something. I can’t even believe I’m saying this, considering I used to be Anti-Pet. But yeah, I don’t know how long this will last…We’ll see.

Nail polish…I got back into painting my nails during my unemployed time. I had a lot of time on my hands needless to say. Now any pretty unique color I see, I buy. It’s kinda starting to get out of hand…to the point I’m store hopping looking for pretty colors. Like I’m trying to build up my collection. Sad. I know.
